Exhibition at The Bull Hotel, Wrotham
The Bull Hotel, Bull Lane, Wrotham, Kent TN15 7RF
GREAT ART • GREAT FOOD • GREAT DRINK • GREAT TIME
When I received a call from Lygia, the owner of The Bull in Wrotham, asking if I would like to exhibit my drawings on the main wall in their restaurant/bar area - I jumped at the chance. This is the third display I have held at this beautiful venue, but this time it felt even more of an honour as it coincided with lockdown being lifted allowing restaurants to open up inside venues.
Not only was this an opportunity to bring brightness through my coloured pencil work, but I had free rein as to the subject matter. Therefore it felt poignant to base the theme of my drawings around the freedom from the release of lockdown.
In the display I have drawn 18 pieces to compliment the theme and included the sentimental statement: "Never has it been more important to ... support local, chat & laugh, be together, celebrate and eat out!"
Why not come along and see my artwork up close and at the same time support local and treat yourself to a lovely meal. Remember to book a table in advance at www.thebullhotel.com.
If I am free, I would be more than happy to pop along to chat to you about my drawings.
